Chairpersons from the Mack Unit, Americold and Mack Remanufacturing, in addition to committee persons, and the Benefits and Health &amp; Safety representatives were present.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We enjoyed conversations surrounding subjects such as collective bargaining and the need for effective communication within the union.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Closing in on negotiations, we shared many ideas on securing higher wages, competitive healthcare and improving working conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our local looks forward to working with Director Vicente in our future endeavors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>Amalgamated Local Union No. 677<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Region 9 Director\u2019s visit to the UAW Amalgamated Local 677 Union Hall Newly elected UAW International Region 9 Director Daniel Vicente visited our Union Hall on Thursday March 16th.
